Museum Access

We are at the top of a hill which is short, but rather steep. There are two parking spaces close to the museum entrance, reserved for people who have difficulty with the approach to the building, and there is a dropped kerb at the main door.

The museum is on two floors. Since we re-opened in January 2007, we have a new platform lift, which means that both floors of the museum – and all our facilities – are now accessible to wheelchair users and others who have difficulty with stairs.
